Flipping comes naturally in our 5,000 sq foot tumbling and trampoline room, so why not sign up for a class!? Tumbling is both fun and exciting and can be seen anywhere from competitive cheerleading to freestyle skiing and extreme sports. Our classes focus on developing well rounded and efficient tumbling skills that are safe, versatile, and perfected on all types of surfaces. Depending on experience level, students will be separated into our Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced classes. Athletes predominantly interested in only achieving their back-handspring should check out our Back Handspring Accelerant program.
Beginner: Students will be safely introduced to proper technique as they develop the strength and flexibility needed for safe tumbling and basic back-handsprings.
Back Handspring Accelerant (BHSx): Those seeking a fast-track to safely gain their back-handsprings can do so in our back-handspring accelerant class. As a prerequisite, athletes must have taken or currently be taking a beginner (safe tumbling) class. New to tumbling, no sweat, sign up for both and receive a Discount on your Combo Class!!
Intermediate: Students will build from their current back-handspring knowledge as they work towards rounding-off back-hand-springs with consistency and implementing additional skills.
Advanced: Students, with fluency in back-handsprings, will be working towards connecting several skills in series, i.e. back tucks, layouts, full twists, and more complex skills.
An exciting alternative to traditional sports, trampoline is a gravity-defying experience like no other. An Olympic sport since 2000, the popularity of trampoline has grown both competitively and as a training device for aerial tricks in extreme sports. Concentration, flexibility, and timing all come together to create a fun and safe way for students to develop air-awareness and build confidence. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just a beginner, trampoline classes are a great way to get acquainted with the world of gymnastics and provide you with the next level of physical training. Get your head in the clouds and come see what all the fuss is about! Trampoline classes are offered to boys and girls age 5 & up.
Beginner: A 1 hour class that meets once a week will teach basic terminology and skills to the new trampolinist. No experience required!
Intermediate: A 1 hour class that meets once a week for the athlete with prior skill level and experience. Athletes will be working through the USA Tumbling & Trampoline Junior Olympic levels. Class focus is on forward and backward saltos.
